As he takes a breath and spreads out his oshibori, a masked, unidentified man appears. The man is more of a villain than a hero. His is a minor role that doesn’t play a big part in the story. Neither can become the hero, but each goes about his daily life in an indifferent manner. They laugh casually with their friends, cry over unbearable feelings, or get angry about things they are helpless to change. Although they never talk about it, each lives his life with some small sense of happiness and fulfillment. While not the most glamorous characters on stage, their clumsy and honest way of life also has great appeal.
I would like to portray these men who continue on with hope, rather than a scene where they are knocked off the screen with a single punch like the end credits of a film.
