The aim of this art work is to play with the assumption of an oshibori. When you receive the oshibori, you will see a minimalist line on it. Maybe it is some sort of line from calligraphy, or a brush stroke from a drawing, or just a simple beautiful line. When you open the oshibori, you will be pleasantly surprised. The line becomes something else, which you couldn’t expect. Hopefully it will bring a smile to your face. Maybe it will be a starting point for a conversation with someone at your table, or maybe even at the table next to you. Through humor, I hope to bring people together.
