The artwork Japanese Winter is an art piece created to remind us of the past in order to take responsibility of our future and that of our children’s. I would like to remind us all of the events that happened in Japan on the 6th and 9th of August in 1945. On these days two atomic bombs were detonated over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which killed approximately 129,000 to 226,000 civilians, not even mentioning the aftermath. Japanese Winter is an art piece that is a cry for PEACE!
