I cannot help feeling that moths are like the various emotions surrounding me.
Gathering towards the light from out of the darkness, they flutter about while scattering their scales. This resembles the myriad emotions, both my own and those of others, that surround me and cause feelings of confusion.
At other times, moths cause surprise by appearing to lie in wait for me on a dimly lit wall. It is like the feeling I get when suddenly recalling pain from the past.
The time I spend using an oshibori is an important moment for me to calm my body and mind and renew my spirit. I designed this oshibori with the desire to refresh the minds of guests amidst restless emotions, helping them to feel positive and peaceful.
