How would you feel if you picked up an oshibori thinking it was clean and spotless, only to find it already had a tea stain on it? This work was created while imagining such a situation. Of course, this is embroidery and not a stain, but sometimes I wonder if there really are “clean and pure things” around us. And to what extent do we need them? I would be happy if I could share these thoughts in some small way.
