In South Africa we have minibuses mostly made by Toyota as a public transport known as the taxi industry. This is a reasonable and flexible mode of transport but you have to use an appropriate indexical sign in order for the taxi to take you to a desired destination. Out of many other hand signs I have used one that signifies Mhlanga Rocks, which is a suburb by the sea where you can find numerous restaurants, hotels, malls and spas. I have used a Tetris car design in a seven-color coding known as ISISHUNKA from the Msinga area where my mother was born. My artwork aims to wish my mother a speedy recovery from a minor stroke so that she is once again able to enjoy leisure at her favorite Spa in Umhlanga Rocks.
